Create a scheduled summary

Choose the source
Open Scheduled Summaries and select Create summary. Use Database items for property filters, People mentions, and property quick actions. Use All pages or Selected pages to list pages. Selected pages can include child pages and items in child databases.

Choose the destination and schedule
Send to one channel or one fixed member by DM. Set the frequency, local run time, and timezone. Turn on Only send when there are results to skip empty posts.

Choose the row fields and save
Under Summary content, choose the fields shown in each row, then select Create summary. On the list, saved item filters appear under Then because they select what goes into the summary, not when the schedule runs.
Limits and recovery
- Rows and Details
- A summary card shows up to 10 rows. Show More continues the list. Add Details button to open item cards and make quick actions available.
- Schedule access
- Daily and weekly schedules are available on every plan. Hourly schedules require Standard or Pro. See Plans & Billing for summary quantities and extra-summary pricing.
- Run now
- Owners and admins can run a saved summary from the Scheduled Summaries list. Manual and scheduled runs for the same summary share a one-minute cooldown.
- Missed schedules
- If a scheduled check is missed, NotiCord sends the latest missed daily or weekly run once after checks recover. It does not send a backlog. Creating, changing, or enabling a summary after its scheduled time waits for the next occurrence. Moving the time later can still run it that day or week if the new time has not passed.
- Drafts
- Save draft keeps an unfinished summary from sending or scheduling, but it still uses a scheduled-summary slot.
- Unavailable source or destination
- Restore the missing Notion access or Discord permissions, reselect the resource, and save again. For missing or failing buttons, use Quick actions are missing or failing.
