Discord Panels

Discord panels keep the most useful actions visible in one Discord message.

Best fit

  • Intake channels where people should always see the main entry action.
  • Triage or support channels where the next useful action should stay visible.
  • Shared team hubs with a small set of common lists or create flows.

Build a panel people will actually use

  1. Open Discord Commands and switch to the Panels tab.
  2. Click Add panel.
  3. Add a short public title or description only if people need extra context.
  4. Add the buttons you want, choose optional emoji for quick scanning, and point each one to a saved create command or page list.
  5. Pick the Discord channel, save, and then publish the panel.

Choose the right button targets

Button target Best fit
Page list People should browse existing pages before deciding what to do
Create command People should start a new intake flow right away
Important panel rule
Panel buttons can open page lists, but they can open only fixed-source create commands. Commands that still use Choose in Discord can still be run only by typing the slash command.
Common gotchas
Save updates only the draft. The live Discord message changes after you publish again. Panels work best with a small number of common actions, not a giant button wall.

Need limits or exact behavior? Open Discord Panels. If a button or command is failing, use Commands are missing or failing.
