Discord Panels

Publish a persistent panel in a text channel or a new forum post that launches the create commands and page lists people use most.

The Panels page shows each saved panel with its Discord message and buttons, publication status, destination channel, and last published time. Needs update means saved changes are not live yet. Open the panel to review or publish them.

Build and publish

    Create the targets first

    A panel can launch saved page lists and create commands, including a command that normally asks people to choose a parent page in Discord.

    Create the panel

    Under Discord → Panels, click Create panel. Name is the dashboard label; Panel title and Panel text appear in Discord.

    Add up to 10 buttons

    Choose a saved target for each button, set its label, emoji, and color, then drag buttons into order. For a Create page command that uses Choose in Discord, select the parent page under New pages go under.

    Choose a channel and publish

    Select a text channel or forum. A forum destination creates a new post containing the panel. Existing threads, announcement channels, and forums that require tags are not supported. Choose a forum without required tags. Send a preview if needed, then click Save & publish. If you are not ready to post in Discord, choose Save draft instead.

Choose what each button opens

Page listOpens the saved list privately. Post to channel and Refresh still follow that page list's sharing settings.
Create commandOpens the saved form. For a command using Choose in Discord, the panel owner selects one parent page for that button. People using the button create pages there; the slash command still lets them choose a parent each time.

Save, preview, and publish

Save draft insteadKeeps a new, unpublished panel in NotiCord without sending it to Discord. A saved draft can later use Publish panel.
Send previewSends a disabled copy to the selected text channel, or creates a separate preview post in the selected forum, without changing the live panel.
Save & publishCreates a new panel and posts it in Discord. A panel you have already published uses Save & publish changes to update the existing panel. In a forum, updates keep the existing post.

Changing a live panel's destination posts the updated panel in the new channel before NotiCord removes the old panel. If Discord rejects the update, the existing panel stays available and your edits remain in the editor.

When a status needs action

Needs updateChanges saved through the API are not live yet. Open the panel and click Publish changes.
Needs attentionA target is gone or unsupported, or NotiCord lost channel access. Fix it and publish again.
BlockedRestore service access in Plans & Billing before previewing or publishing.

If a button or command is failing, use Commands are missing or failing.
