Page List Commands

Use page list commands when a team needs the same Notion list again and again in Discord. A good list helps someone scan the matching pages, open the right one, and take the next action without searching Notion.

Build one useful list

  1. Open Discord Commands, then open the Page lists tab.
  2. Edit /pages, or click Add page list for another saved list.
  3. Name the list and choose the slash command people will type.
  4. Choose the source, filters, and sorting before polishing the Discord card.
  5. In Shown in each row, keep the scan fields short and include Details button when people need the opened page card.
  6. Click Create page list, then run the command in Discord.
Default /pages
When setup can create the default command, /pages starts as an All pages list sorted by last edited time. It includes Details, 💬 Add comment, and 📎 Upload files.

Need to pause setup? Save draft keeps the slash command inactive. Drafts reserve a page-list slot, but they do not register commands, appear in the public API, or send anything to Discord until finished.

Choose the source

Source Best for Unlocks
All pages Broad lookup across shared pages Title, Created by, and Last edited by filters; title/created/last-edited sorting
Database items Property-driven lists Database filters, database fields, rolling dates, is me, and Status/Select/People actions
Selected pages One page, one database item page, or one page tree Can include only the selected page, only child pages, or both; child databases can match too

Use Database items when the list needs Notion properties to filter, sort, display, or update. Use Selected pages when the list should stay anchored to one hub, project, customer, or page tree. is me, Assign to me, and Assign teammate need Members and Notion Identity.

Shape the Discord result

Setting What it changes
Shown in each row The list columns. Add Details button to open each page card from Discord.
Page details The opened card fields and display toggles. This section appears only when Details is selected.
Sort by The order shown when the command runs. Non-database lists use title, created, or last edited; database lists use Notion property names for sortable properties.
Header row Shows or hides column labels above the list.
Card language Localizes NotiCord system text and dates on list cards, details cards, and previews.
Quick actions Buttons and dropdowns on the opened page card. They require Details button.
Keep actions behind Details
Quick actions do not appear on every row. Add Details button, then configure actions for the opened page card. Any source can add comment or upload files; database lists can also update Status, Select, or People properties.

Page list results show up to 10 rows per card. When more pages match, Discord shows Show More. Keep row fields scannable and move richer context into Page details.

Share a list into the channel

Channel sharing controls whether a command result can be posted where the command runs:

Option Discord behavior
Off The command result stays private to the person who ran it.
One-time post Adds Post to channel to publish the current result as a snapshot.
Refreshable post Posted snapshots also include Refresh so the channel can reload the list.

Channel sharing turns off when the list uses an is me filter, because the result depends on the person running the command. Posted list messages also suppress Discord mention pings.

If commands are missing or failing, use Commands are missing or failing. If quick actions are missing or failing, use Quick actions are missing or failing.
