Current docs vs release history
Older entries on this page describe the product as it worked at the time of release. For the current setup flow and feature behavior, use Getting Started, Guides, and Reference.

May 20, 2026

  • Billing More self-serve add-ons - Paid-plan owners can now buy extra notification volume, create commands, page lists, scheduled summaries, and notification rules from Billing.
  • Tasks Reorder card properties - Field pickers for Discord cards and list rows now let you drag selected property field chips into the order people should see in Discord.

May 12, 2026

  • Viewer Add Discord embeds from NotiCord - Discord Embeds now lets owners and admins choose a Discord channel or thread, choose a Notion page, and add the read-only Discord embed directly from the dashboard. Preview and copy remain available for manual placement.
  • Viewer Display older Discord messages - Discord viewer readers can click Display older messages when more channel history is available, loading earlier messages without losing their place in the viewer.

May 5, 2026

  • Setup Join an existing Discord server subscription from setup - When setup finds the Discord server is already connected to another subscription, users can send a member request to that subscription. If their Notion identity is valid for that workspace, Members preselects it for approval.

May 4, 2026

  • Viewer Embed Discord from Discord - Owners and admins can run /embed-discord in a Discord channel or thread, choose a shared Notion page, and let NotiCord add the Discord embed directly to that page.
  • Tasks Share page lists into Discord channels - Page-list commands can now show Post to channel, with an optional Refresh button for channel posts that should stay current.

May 3, 2026

  • Setup Notion identity link requests now email the owner - When someone runs /link-account in Discord, NotiCord emails the subscription owner with a link to Members so an owner or admin can approve the match.

April 30, 2026

  • Setup Members can sign in with roles and invitations - Members with Notion identity now get member access when they sign in instead of being blocked from the app. Owners and admins can manage member roles, invite Notion users by email from Members, and admins can manage subscription workflows without billing access. Members with Notion identity can switch between accessible subscriptions or start their own subscription.
  • Tasks Quick actions can assign teammates - Database-backed People quick actions can now show Assign teammate, letting someone choose an approved teammate with a Notion identity link in Discord and add that person to the Notion People property.
  • Tasks Discord replies can stay in Notion comment threads - When someone clicks Add comment on a comment notification card, NotiCord now replies to that existing Notion discussion instead of starting a separate page comment.
  • Tasks Quick actions hide Discord row setup - Quick action setup now uses one button picker and automatically arranges selected buttons for Discord. Dropdowns stay available for database Status and Select properties with many options.

April 29, 2026

  • Notifications Deleted pages can notify Discord - Notification rules can now watch deleted pages and database items in real time or scheduled changes. Existing rules and new scheduled-change rules keep deletes off until you select the deleted-pages or deleted-items event.
  • Setup Unsaved editor changes are protected - Switching between Notion sources in notification rules, scheduled summaries, create commands, and page lists now keeps in-progress settings available while you compare sources.
  • Setup Configuration drafts - New notification rules, scheduled summaries, create commands, and page lists can now be saved as drafts and finished later from their normal lists. Drafts stay out of live delivery, scheduled runs, and Discord command registration until created.
  • Viewer Bot cards render more completely - The Discord viewer now renders messages made from multiple Discord card containers instead of replacing the whole message with an unsupported-content note.

April 23, 2026

  • Setup API returns complete workflow configs - The public API now returns direct-message notification and scheduled-summary destinations, assignee mention settings, is me filters, and Assign to me quick actions without hiding saved notification rules, scheduled summaries, create commands, or page lists.

April 22, 2026

  • Notifications Rolling date filters - Date filters can now compare against fixed dates or rolling values like Today, Tomorrow, 7 days from now, and 7 days ago across notification rules, scheduled summaries, and page lists.
  • Tasks Show more list results in Discord - Page lists, scheduled summaries, and scheduled-change lists now keep each Discord card compact at 10 rows and add Show More when more matching pages or items are available.
  • Notifications Preview content choices - Preview panels now always include a selector with Real page and Example choices, so you can switch away from an untitled or sparse Notion page while checking the card.

April 21, 2026

  • Tasks Default Discord commands after setup - New setups with both Notion and a Discord server install now start with /create-page for basic page creation and /pages for browsing shared pages in Discord, with Add comment and Upload files ready on their details cards.
  • Setup Disconnecting Notion cleans up saved setup - Disconnecting a Notion workspace now removes saved notification rules, scheduled summaries, create commands, page lists, panels, pending link requests, pending account-link invitations, and Notion identity links for that subscription. Service activity history remains unless the account is deleted.

April 20, 2026

  • Setup API page and /api/v1 - The app now has a dedicated API page for keys, a quickstart request, human-readable OpenAPI docs with parameters and response schemas, raw OpenAPI JSON, discovery endpoints, workflow configuration endpoints, and panel support for agents and scripts on every plan.
  • Tasks Create pages from Discord messages - Fixed-source create commands can now be enabled in Discord message actions, draft the create form from the selected message with AI-assisted defaults, keep the Discord source link in the Notion page, and require review before anything is created. New fixed-source commands start enabled; existing commands stay off until you turn them on.
  • Tasks Quick actions can add comments and upload files - Quick action button rows can now include Add comment and Upload files on notification cards, created-page cards, page-list details, and scheduled-summary details. New All pages and Selected pages setups start with Add comment selected, while Upload files and database-backed Status, Select, and People quick actions stay configurable in the same Quick actions section.
  • Scheduled Weekly scheduled workflows - Scheduled summaries and scheduled-change notification rules can now run weekly on a chosen weekday and hour. Daily and weekly cadences are available on every plan, while hourly still requires Team or Pro.

April 17, 2026

  • Tasks Notion links can preview directly in Discord - Connected Discord servers can now reply to the first pasted Notion page or database link in a message with a compact preview card whose title opens in Notion when the owner enables Preview pasted Notion links in Settings.

April 15, 2026

  • Billing Paid plan switches now stay in Billing - Paid subscriptions now switch Solo, Team, and Pro directly from the Billing page instead of sending you into Stripe for plan confirmation. Stripe still handles payment methods, invoices, cancellation, and any proration after the change.

April 14, 2026

  • Notifications Quieter update cards by default - New real-time notification rules now default to showing only the changed parts on update cards, so unchanged selected fields disappear on property updates and page content plus media/files only show when the update was actually a content change. Existing saved rules keep their previous card behavior until you change that toggle.

April 13, 2026

  • Billing Pro plan and three-plan billing - Billing and pricing now support Solo, Team, and the new Pro plan, active trials can switch between all three before paying, and hourly scheduled workflows plus higher limits are available on the eligible higher tiers.
  • Tasks Create commands now support page sources - Create commands can now target all shared pages, one shared database, or one selected shared page. Database-backed commands keep database-property fields and quick actions, while page-backed commands stay page-generic, can also add attachments, and ask for a parent page at run time when needed.
  • Tasks Private Discord threads for create commands - Create commands can now start a private Discord thread after submission, add configured Discord users and matching people from this subscription for selected roles automatically, show that read-only thread inside the created Notion page, and let signed-in people join the private thread from that thread view when they already belong to the connected Discord server and subscription.

April 12, 2026

  • Viewer Viewer sign-in works inside the Notion embed again - Discord viewer sign-in now completes directly from the embedded viewer popup instead of sending you to a separate browser tab, and blocked-popup cases now show clearer guidance.

April 10, 2026

  • Notifications Scheduled wording and card language - Scheduled-change rules now use the same custom entry label and card language controls as real-time rules, and both previews plus sent previews stay aligned with the saved wording.

April 9, 2026

  • Notifications Additional mentions for channel rules - Notification rules that send to a Discord channel can now mention fixed Discord users or roles on every send, including real-time cards and scheduled-change lists, while previews still suppress the actual ping.
  • Notifications People-name contains filters - People filters can now use Contains to match the visible Notion person name text, which helps cover external collaborators across notification rules, scheduled summaries, and page lists without requiring a member.

April 4, 2026

  • Notifications Workspace-wide real-time rules - New notification rules now default to All pages, so you can save a working real-time rule without picking a database or page first, previews use a real recent shared page when available, and any currently shared page activity can trigger that rule.

April 2, 2026

  • Tasks Page lists now use direct slash commands - Each page list now has its own slash command such as /triage, the old global list-opener flow is gone, and built-in personal shortcuts were removed so page list commands now behave like normal commands end to end.

March 28, 2026

  • Notifications Live notification previews - Sent notification previews now use the same footer, quick actions, and media/file rendering as the live notification card for the current draft, while still suppressing pings and staying out of Notification History.

March 27, 2026

  • Scheduled Scheduled Summaries replace Scheduled Digests - Scheduled Summaries now live on their own page, send interactive item lists with separate row fields and summary details, show both list and summary-details previews in the editor, and remove manual Send now in favor of preview-first setup.
  • Tasks Discord Commands split create commands from page lists - Create-command editors can now send the created-page card to Discord before saving, page lists now own their own page details and quick actions, and page lists plus scheduled summaries use the same richer current-item filter behavior for relation, number, date, and formula-based lists.
  • Viewer Discord Embeds setup page - The app now has a dedicated Discord Embeds page for choosing a channel and copying the viewer URL, instead of asking you to build /viewer/... links manually before embedding them in Notion.

March 24, 2026

  • Notifications Direct-message rule destinations - Notification rules can now send to one fixed member by Discord DM instead of only to shared channels, previews use the same destination, and paused/blocked states now explain DM-account failures separately from channel-permission issues.
  • Notifications Scheduled changes moved into Notification Rules - The old standalone Scheduled Alerts setup is now part of database notification rules as Scheduled changes, so schedules, watched-property checks, destinations, previews, and rule history now live on the main Notifications surface.

March 20, 2026

  • Tasks Discord Commands - The old Tasks setup is now Discord Commands, with reusable create commands for Discord page creation and page lists that show Notion pages in Discord. You can also add page-list commands such as /triage.

March 19, 2026

  • Notifications Per-rule notification card language - Discord notification cards now support English (US), Português (Brasil), Español, Polski, Français, 日本語, Deutsch, 한국어, 繁體中文, Italiano, Bahasa Indonesia, Türkçe, and Nederlands per rule, previews use the same saved card language before you ship live, and only system-generated card copy is translated.
  • Notifications Clearer property support in rule builders - Notification rule pickers now show more database property types instead of silently hiding them, Notification content can include Files, Formula, and Rollup properties, and unsupported trigger/filter properties stay visible with inline explanations.

March 18, 2026

  • Notifications Empty selected properties stay visible - Preview cards and live notifications now keep selected properties visible with a clear placeholder instead of omitting them, and Notification content adds a Show empty properties toggle that starts on by default.

  • Notifications Advanced notification filters - Database rules now support saved filter rows, including People-property matches for selected Notion users, inside a collapsed Advanced filters section.

March 17, 2026

  • Notifications Comment mention DMs - Members with Notion identity can now receive Discord DMs for new Notion comment mentions, with a per-member toggle on Members that starts on for new approved links.
  • Notifications Real-content rule previews - Notification-rule previews now default to real in-scope Notion content, let you switch between eligible samples in the editor, and keep Send notification preview aligned with the chosen sample.
  • Notifications Notification content controls - Notification content can now hide uploaded file attachments, and previews reflect that saved content choice.
  • Billing Trial plan switching - Active unpaid trials can now switch between Solo, Team, and Pro directly in Billing and only start paid billing when they choose Activate ... plan.

March 13, 2026

  • Notifications Richer notification cards - Notification cards can now render Notion media inline, send PDFs and files as Discord attachments, and flatten layout-heavy page structures into readable Discord-friendly summaries.
