Frequently Asked Questions
What counts toward my notification limit?
Each Discord notification sent by a notification rule or scheduled summary counts as 1 notification. If multiple rules or deliveries match, each notification counts separately.
Does not count:
- Using custom create commands (e.g.,
/bug,/feature) - Using page-list commands or
/find - Button interactions (status changes, assign to me)
- Dashboard usage
How do I upgrade my plan?
Open Billing in the NotiCord dashboard.
- Billing shows both your current monthly price and the other available plan price, so you can compare options before changing plans.
- Active trials start on Team by default. Use the plan buttons in Billing to choose Solo or Team before paying.
- After billing starts, the change buttons open Stripe for final confirmation.
- If a trial expires or a paid subscription becomes inactive, non-Billing app pages show a warning banner with a direct path back to Billing.
- To review limits first, click Compare plans (opens a comparison modal).
- You can also use Manage Billing to open the Stripe billing portal directly.
Before starting checkout, set I'm buying for business use under the primary button. The setting applies tax handling during Stripe checkout.
Why don't I see usage on Billing when it's zero?
Billing shows notification usage after your first notification in the current billing period.
It also shows other active workflow usage after you start using those features, such as notification rules, scheduled summaries, or create commands.
If nothing is in use yet, Billing stays focused on subscription and payment management.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
To complete deletion, you must:
- Select a deletion reason.
- If you select Other, provide details.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
If your subscription is active, cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period before account deletion completes.
Why aren't notifications instant?
Notifications typically arrive within around 1 minute, but can take up to 5 minutes or longer because Notion batches updates before NotiCord sees them.
For technical details, see Notion's webhook documentation.
How do I share a database with NotiCord?
Use the Notion access guide: Give NotiCord Access in Notion.
Can I use browser page translation (for example Chrome Translate)?
Yes. NotiCord setup pages support browser translation now, including fast interactions while translated.
If a page looks stale after translation finishes, refresh once and continue.
I see "Authorization Canceled" after Discord login. What should I do?
This means Discord authorization was canceled or denied during sign-in.
On the callback screen, click Try Sign In Again to restart Discord sign-in immediately.
- When Discord asks for access again, approve it to continue.
- If it still fails, open a support request with a screenshot of the technical details shown on that page.
