Search Pages

Find any page or task across your Notion workspace using the /find command in Discord.


How to Search

Use the /find command followed by your search term:

/find <search term>

Returns up to 10 results matching your search term.


🔍 Search Scope

Searches:

  • Page titles (all databases and pages)
  • Task titles in connected task databases
  • All pages in your connected Notion workspace

Does not search:

  • Page content/body
  • Property values
  • Comments
  • Archived pages

Examples

Search for a Task

/find quarterly roadmap

Returns pages with "quarterly" or "roadmap" in the title.

Search for a Database

/find meeting notes

Returns all pages matching "meeting" or "notes".

Search by Keyword

/find bug-123

Returns pages with "bug-123" in the title.


Understanding Results

Results show:

  • Page title (clickable link to Notion)
  • Database name (if page is in a database)
  • Type indicator (📋 Task or 📄 Page)
  • Status (for tasks only)
  • Assignees (for tasks only, if any)

Results are sorted by last edited date (most recent first).


💡 Search Tips
  • Be specific: "Q4 roadmap" is better than just "roadmap"
  • Use unique identifiers: Search for ticket numbers, project codes, or unique names
  • Try variations: If you don't find it, try different keywords

  • Minimum 2 characters required for search
  • Maximum 10 results shown
  • Only searches pages in connected workspace (database entries themselves are excluded)
  • Only searches titles (not content)
  • No advanced search operators (AND, OR, quotes)
